"Air Support"

Air support crews provide real time support to law enforcement personnel and command operation center using state-of-the-art technology including a Forward Looking Infer-Red Thermal Imager & Color Video Camera ("F.L.I.R") device, 15-million candle-power spotlight, on-board computer and moving map program, Down-Link video feed, multi-band radio communications system, small arms protection system, wireless intercom, GPS system, and much more! One item of particular note is in Huntington Beach's PD-1. You will notice that there is no tail rotor. This is a new technology called "NOTAR" (NO TAil Rotor) and is designed to cut down on rotor noise.
