"Fireball"

These photos are from a gas line explosion in Maple Highest Ohio, in December 2002. A 26" gas main was ruptured by construction crews working for the local cable company restoring services that were out for 2600 customers. The resulting fireball burned for several hours before crews were able to get the gas main shut off.
