Radio Shacks new Pro-96 digital trunking scanner is scheduled for distribution in
November 2003. The Pro-96 scanner will track and decode Project 25 Phase-1 compliant digital systems including ASTRO IMBE and P25 modulation types at 3600 baud and 9600 baud. Though it will not decode VSELP
systems.
List price is set at $499.00 and there is no additional decoder card needed for the scanners.
Here are some key features:

Frequency coverage includes: 28-54, 108-136, 137-174, 406-512, 806-960MHz (except cellular),
and 1240-1300 MHz.

Will track and decode Project 25 Phase 1 compliant digital systems including ASTRO IMBE and P25 modulation types at 3600 baud and 9600 baud.

Will follow analog Motorola I, II, I/II and GE/Ericsson (EDACS) trunked radio systems.
